The Frankston Club had a glorious day to hold their monthly competition day on Sunday 14th February. The enthusiastic crowd were treated to warm sunshine, moderate breezes and a freshly cut, well prepared field.

Events listed for the day were Combined and Perky Speed, Navy Carrier and Mini-Goodyear

The Speed guys made good use of the concrete circle and a variety of models took to the air during the days' proceedings. Andrew had the misfortune to 'cook' his Perky racer during start-up.

Navy Carrier commenced just as the wind increased making flying and successful 'arrested' deck landings real challenge.

Mini-Goodyear racing started early afternoon with 5 teams and models matched closely in speed making for some exciting racing.
